Record PROTECT IP6X is a sliding door operator with IP6X-encapsulated modules, in which the operator, lock, battery and expansion module are housed in sealed stainless steel enclosures made of 1.4404 (AISI 316L) stainless steel, which offer unique resistance to water, moisture and dust. This level of protection ensures reliable performance regardless of the environment, including closeness to the ocean, on ships, near swimming pools or in the tropics. This extension to the Record STA 20 operator product line is IP66 certified in accordance with DIN EN 60529 (IEC60529/VDE 047).
What does „IP” mean?
IP stands for Ingress Protection, indicating the level of defense against dust and water. The first digit signifies complete dust-tight protection, while the second digit ensures protection against powerful water jets from any angle.
